otona ni natta?

something strange has been happening the past few days. for the whole week, i’ve been drinking my coffee black. bitter, espresso roast, no frills – black coffee. i’ve never liked really sweet coffee (like frapps). but compared to the japanese, my coffee is still a bit on the “sweet and creamy” side. i used to get teased about it all the time by my japanese bosses. not anymore though.
“ara! anton otona ni nattanjan? ”
“e?… a sounandesune…”
so there you go, to the eyes of my japanese bosses, i have (finally) become an adult.
meh. coffee is coffee. and i love coffee (probably an understatement). just as long as its piping hot. or at least warm. lukewarm coffee, black or sweetened, is really just – bleh.
